The price per square meter of housing in the principality grew by almost 18%

The price of homes per square meter in 2022 grew in Andorra by 17.7% compared to the figures for 2021 and stood at an amount of 3,266.4 euros. For its part, the growth in the price of commercial premises transactions increased even more and registered a rise of 29.3%.

Real estate transactions in Andorra in 2022 grew by 6.4% compared to the final figure for 2021. The number of transferred real estate grew by 19.3% and within the set of said operations the increase in building transfers took shape, which grew 41.7 percent in 2022 compared to the previous year. Land (34.2%), other constructions (24.9%) and parking spaces (23.4%) also recorded notable growth.

Regarding the value of real estate transferred last year, this increased a total of 33% in relation to 2021. The most considerable increases in value occurred in transactions of commercial premises, with a growth of almost 45 %, followed by land, with an increase of 37.3%, and parking spaces, with an increase of 34.1%. The real estate that registered a decrease in value were warehouses, which suffered a fall of 65.9%.

If the volume of the surface transmitted is taken into account, operations almost doubled in 2022, with an increase of 96.9%. The transferred plots of land grew in area by 150.9% and single-family homes also increased by 44.3%. Warehouses were transferred with a decrease in the transferred area of ​​58.6%.
