The president of the ANC gets a place in the Department of the Presidency

The president of the ANC, Dolors Feliu, has secured a position in the legal office of the Department of the Presidency of the Government, which is headed by Laura Vilagrà, according to the ministry's website and corroborated by ANC sources.

The square was published on September 13, two days after the Diada, in which Feliu summoned the president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, to complete independence or call elections and charged the independence parties for "demobilising".

Feliu, who is an official of the Generalitat's law corps - a necessary requirement to apply for the position -, had previously held several senior positions in the Government: from 2011 to 2019 she was general director of Consulting Services and, from 2019 to 2021, director General Law and Constitutional Affairs.

The deadline for submitting the application for this job ended on September 23, when the Govern crisis that led to JxCat's internal consultation and that ended up leading to his departure from the Catalan executive was already in sight, while the resolution was published The 2nd of November.

Specifically, Feliu has obtained a position as head of support and consultative relations of the General Directorate of Consultative Services and Legal Coordination of the Legal Office of the Department of the Presidency, which corresponds to level 29 and category A1 of the officials of the Generalitat.

ANC sources consulted by EFE have explained that this position is "inferior" to the positions that Feliu had previously held in the Generalitat and that it requires "less dedication", so "he will have more time for activism" in favor of the independence.
