The Popular Party of Castilla-La Mancha has decided to open a file on the councilor of this party in Cabanillas del Campo, Jaime Celada, who appears in some images, supposedly recorded on the night of December 31, singing, arm raised, Cara al Sol .
The events were denounced by Unidas Podemos, the Forum for Memory and the PCE of Guadalajara, which planned to file a complaint against the mayor on Tuesday.
The complaint, according to El País, will be presented by Manuel Gallego on behalf of Izquierda Unida before the Government sub-delegation for infringement of the Democratic Memory Law in force since last October.
This law considers illegal acts carried out in public, which "involve personal or collective exaltation of the military uprising, the War or the Dictatorship, its leaders, participants in the repressive system or the organizations that supported the dictatorial regime".
The councilor in question was Mayor of Cabanillas del Campo between 2011 and 2015 and since then he has held various positions in public companies in the municipality. He has also been a deputy in the Guadalajara deputation. On his twitter account in November he posted a photo together with the new party leader Alberto Núñez-Feijoo.
