The PP imposes its majority to prevent the disapproval of Ayuso's vice president

One after another, the Table of the Assembly of Madrid in which the PP has a majority has been knocking down the three non-law proposals (PNL) presented by the groups on the left (More Madrid, PSOE and United We Can) for which They urged the disapproval of the vice president and spokesman for the Madrid Executive, Enrique Ossorio, for his recent statements about nursing homes.

The roller of the PP, which this afternoon has not added the support that Vox is giving it on a regular basis so far in the legislature, thus closes the way for the opposition that impotently sees how all its initiatives have been dismantled for a hypothetical parliamentary tour .

The groups on the left called last Wednesday for the disapproval and resignation of Ossorio for saying that investigating in commission the deaths of the elderly in residences "is going to cause unnecessary damage" to the families because they will think again that they could have been avoided, when " they have already overcome it", words that he later clarified on social networks with a version that the left does not accept as rectification.

These controversial statements marked last Thursday's plenary session with Más Madrid and UP clamoring for his resignation, the PSOE leaving the hemicycle -from which it will continue to be absent every time parliamentary activity involves Ossorio's direct interpellation, and the regional spokesman himself accusing them of doing "crappy politics".

The curious thing happened in the corridors. While Vox assured hours later that it accepted the rectification made by Ossorio of his words the day before, the PP parliamentary spokesman, Pedro Muñoz Abrines, denied that such a rectification had existed.

Ayuso thus stops a possible first blow, but the opposition will seek alternatives to erode the regional Executive for its health management of the pandemic.

"Respect, truth and justice", the deputy spokesperson for United We Can, Alejandra Jacinto, has requested these days, while the PSOE spokesman, Juan Lobato, has demanded that Ossorio "apologize, apologize and leave". "His mandate does not have a bit of shame or a bit of dignity left," the spokeswoman for Más Madrid, Mónica García, recently added, calling Ossorio's statements "miserable."

Vox's decision to activate the study commission on residences, which will be voted on in the next plenary session on October 13, has outraged the Madrid president to the point of having accused Rocío Monasterio's party of "putting itself at the head of the left and of "going hand in hand again" with those who brand him as "far right".

Vox's maneuver may seek to tense the budget negotiations that will open in the coming weeks, but in the PP they have felt so bad that extending the regional accounts is not ruled out, thus denying the ultra-nationalists the possibility of obtaining any type of revenue in exchange. of your supports.

"I am particularly struck by the fact that Vox is the best ally of the left in this House," said Ayuso, who pointed out that the intention of the left is "to twist the pain of families" and they will do so "thanks to Vox" . "In this life you have to have principles," he ended up reproaching her.

Monasterio, for its part, backed down minimally in search of solving the mess and, regarding its willingness to promote a study commission on residences, added that it does not intend to "review the past" but rather "look to the future" since its obligation is to "improve the lives of our elders in the coming years".
