There will be no disobedience of the PP barons to the decree law on energy saving measures approved on Monday by the Council of Ministers. The presidents of the communities governed by Feijóo's party will abide by what is established, although they do not remain silent and show their discrepancies, in a more or less forceful tone, either because of what the decree approved on Monday by the Government proposes or because of the way in which that has been elaborated.
The unanimous criticism of the popular barons focuses on the fact that it is the autonomous communities and the town councils who will have to put these saving measures into practice and they have not been consulted or informed, despite the fact that in some cases they already had plans in place that have not been taken into account.
Even Madrid has put the brakes on. Isabel Díaz Ayuso, little less than her, declared herself in absentia after the decree was made public on Monday. “Madrid does not turn off”, because she, she maintained on her social networks, “generates insecurity and scares away tourism and consumption”.
