The PP claims victory in the debate by "defending the real Spain that the PSOE does not attend to"

The PP sees itself as the winner of the face to face that Alberto Núñez Feijóo and Pedro Sánchez celebrated yesterday in the Senate and that, for Genoa, served to "deepen more into the two country models" proposed by both the leader of the opposition and the president of the government.

This was stated this Tuesday by the general coordinator of the PP, Elías Bendodo, arguing that while the president of the popular party "represents the real Spain that has a hard time making ends meet and that sees how prices rise by 10% of crazy way", the socialist leader represents "the official Spain that lives in a parallel reality and that thinks that by inflating taxes the problems are going to be solved".

Bendodo has offered two interviews on TVE and Telecinco in which he has highlighted the change in Sánchez's ways between the first and the second debate and that, in his opinion, "shows that he was wrong in the first by using a false tone".

The general coordinator of the popular ones regrets that the Government "has not yet landed on the economic problems that are suffocating families" although he hopes that it will not take long to do so by accepting, as it did with the reduction of VAT on electricity, the proposals that the PP has been proposing to him in recent weeks: "Feijóo has reached out to Sánchez on five occasions through five State pacts, and he always says that he does not accept them, but little by little he is including the proposals of the PP, because they are loaded with common sense and validated by experts".

In what the leadership of the PP does coincide with that of the PSOE is in disassociating the ongoing negotiation for the renewal of the General Council of the Judiciary from the parliamentary duel. Bendodo, in fact, has acknowledged that "contacts have multiplied" in recent days and that progress is being made "at a good pace" so he trusts that "sooner rather than later an agreement can be reached."

The popular coordinator has stressed that "progress is being made in a way that has not been done before", although he did not want to give more details to protect the negotiations and that they come to fruition. "Let us be as cautious as possible," he added.
