The PP asks Sánchez if he is going to admit amendments to make embezzlement cheaper

The PP has this week marked in red, key to knowing how far Pedro Sánchez is about to go, on many issues, but especially on the reform of the Penal Code to abolish the crime of sedition. Friday is the last day to present amendments, and the popular are convinced that ERC will present an amendment to include a reform on embezzlement.

For this reason, the PP management committee directs a question to the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, so that he can answer it with a yes or a no. "Is the government going to admit amendments to the abolition of sedition to make embezzlement cheaper?" said the general coordinator of the PP Elías Bendodo at a press conference after the popular leadership meeting.

"Let him say yes or no," Bendodo stressed. "It is the week of truth, the PP is vigilant," he said, because he is convinced that Sánchez "wants to save several birds, not only those convicted by the Procés, but also those convicted by the ERE, "by making it cheaper the corruption".

The PP has no doubt that the reform of the crime of embezzlement so that those convicted by the Procés see their disqualification reduced, the only thing from which they have not been pardoned, is a new payment from the Government to the independentistas, "because the blackmailers are not satisfied with the first payment".

For the PP, that first payment was pardons for those convicted, the second payment, they say in the PP, has been the abolition of the crime of sedition: the third payment "we will see it lowering the price of embezzlement." What's more, according to Elías Bendodo, the PP has no doubt that there will be a fourth payment, because the president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonés, has already said so, and it will be "to talk about a referendum again."

Within this strategy, the PP frames other decisions that the Government is making, among which would be the appointment of Juan Carlos Campo in the Constitutional Court, who is not just a former minister who goes from politics to an institutional body such as the Constitutional Court. And he is not just any minister, Bendodo said, "he is the Minister of Justice who pardoned those convicted of the process."

For the PP, the President of the Government goes from "scandal after scandal" to hide from each other, "smoke screens to divert attention, so that there is no talk of the economy, the rise in prices, what happened in the fence of Melilla", but Bendodo warns the PP: "The Spaniards are not stupid, the Spaniards have memories, and the Spaniards take note of how those who carried out a coup are pardoned and rewarded".

A very sad balance, in the opinion of the PP, on a day like tomorrow, when Constitution Day is celebrated, "which has never been so threatened by the Government", with "a continuous attack on constitutional unity by part of Sánchez's associates".

Scandals, said the general coordinator, such as the Yes is Yes law, and the consequences of the reduction of sentences that are taking place, which leads the PP to ask Sánchez, that taking advantage of the remodeling of the Government that he has to do since two ministers will be designated candidates for the mayoralty of Madrid and Las Palmas, dismiss the Minister of Equality, Irene Montero, and proceed to modify the law.

And by the way, the general coordinator of the PP, Elías Bendodo, asks that Pedro Sánchez also dismiss the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska. For now, the PP will present a question in Congress about the events in Melilla, which will be followed by a motion, which the PP intends to have debated before the end of the year, in which there will be a disapproval "for lying" to the head of Inside.
