The Porta Ferrada Festival has closed tonight with the performance of Estopa at the Guíxols Arena a magnificent 60th edition in which it has exceeded all its objectives after hosting a total of 49,357 spectators since last July 2, according to figures offered by the organization. In its sixty years of history, Porta Ferrada has offered its most complete program in this edition. And the fact is that the excellence of the concerts experienced in Sant Feliu de Guíxols undoubtedly make it the benchmark festival in southern Europe.

The goal is for this year to be a spectacular event and, given the involvement of the artists in their concerts, all with a level of excellence recognized by the press, critics and the public, it has been possible to mark a point of unparalleled quality that makes that so many incredible concerts have hardly been seen anywhere in southern Europe.

Memorable have been Manolo García, Sopa de Cabra and Jamie Cullum on their return to the festival. The same has happened with the exclusive shows of Marisa Monte, Leon Bridges, Mario Biondi, Iggy Pop and Simple Minds. The return of Jazz at the Espai Port with Herbie Hancock, Chucho Valdés

In the same way, the public has responded impeccably, filling the different stages of Sant Feliu de Guíxols to more than 49,000 spectators. For nearly two months, Porta Ferrada has also featured performances by Vanesa Martin, Alanaire, Nathy Peluso, Nil Moliner, Guitarricadelafuente, Amaia Miranda, Tanxugueiras, Falsterbo, Els Catarres, Anaïs Vila, Amazing Grace, Maria Hein, Mecanoexperience or the kool veterans

The organization of Porta Ferrada, dean of summer festivals, is proud of having been the first festival in Catalonia to reach the figure of sixty editions and hopes to repeat the public success in 2023.
