The Institutional Affairs Commission (CAI) of the Parlament has revoked this Thursday the licenses by age to the officials of the Catalan Chamber, an early retirement that allowed to collect 100% of the salary without working from the age of 60 if a series were fulfilled of requirements and parameters.
The enlarged Table, which met early in the morning, before the suspension of Laura Borràs as president of the Chamber and deputy was addressed, has given its approval to the new framework, which has not been ratified by the staff council , the representation of the workers. A fact that suggests that the matter may end up in court.
With the current framework, workers who were on leave due to age will have to return to their jobs on November 1, except in some specific cases, and from now on workers over 60 years of age, when they have less than five years left. for legal retirement, they may progressively reduce their working hours.
The proposal has been ratified after obtaining the favorable vote of the PSC, ERC and Junts, the 'no' of Vox and the commons and the abstention of the CUP and Ciudadanos.
The deputy of Junts Lluís Puig, who resides in Belgium, also participated in the vote, after this week the Table has endorsed that hybrid commissions can be made combining the face-to-face and telematic modalities, against the criteria of the lawyers of the institution, which advised undertaking a reform of the regulation for this purpose.
