The painter Conxa Ibáñez has died this Thursday morning in Barcelona at the age of 93, as reported by the Galeria d'Art Canals in a statement.
Born in Canet de Mar (Barcelona) in 1929, Ibáñez studied at the School of Arts and Crafts 'Llotja' and the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona.
His painting was based "on a clean and calm vision of nature, searching for its essential concept", and he also stood out as an engraver.
