The Minister of Forest Management and Rural World of the Government of Extremadura, Camino Limia, the only representative of Vox in the government of the popular María Guardiola, has presented her resignation from office.
This was announced this afternoon in an urgently called press conference by the spokesperson for the Extremaduran Executive, Victoria Bazaga.
As noted by Bazaga, Limia informed the president of the Board this past Thursday of his intention to resign from his position alleging "personal reasons." The dismissal will be published this coming Friday in the Official Gazette of Extremadura.
Limia will be replaced at the head of the ministry by Ignacio Higuero de Juan, current general director of Forest Management, Hunting and Fishing, in such a way that "the people change, but not the objective," said Bazaga.
After the regional elections on May 28, PP and Vox reached an agreement by which the popular María Guardiola, who was elected the first president of the Board, included Limia in her first executive.
