The Net Revenue has been a consultant specializing in the hotel sector for five years. Advises owners to improve their income and achieve better efficiency in the operation of their establishments.
Behind the business is the businessman Francesc González, who detected this need after passing through several hotel chains in the country. "Working as a revenue manager for the Yurbban chain, I thought that the presence of consultancies specialized in this service could have a market share," says the founder, who convinced Oriol Serra, co-founder and CEO of Yurbban, and two other partners, to launch the business.
From 2017 to date, the company's services have expanded throughout Spain, Colombia, Morocco and the United States. Currently, the company works for 28 companies, including hotel chains, campsites and managers of tourist apartments.
“This year, we plan to reach a figure of net income of 750,000 euros, compared to the 380,000 we obtained in the previous year. In volume of business transacted we will reach 70 million euros, with our sights set on reaching 100 million in a couple of years. We plan to invest in more technology, ”he indicates.
From the headquarters in Barcelona, a total of 15 people are dedicated to promoting the business. González acknowledges that it has not been easy, since the company was born just after the attack on Las Ramblas and has gone through the coronavirus pandemic.
Despite the adversities, the founder assures that the business has always been profitable and that it has been financed with its own resources. For this reason, he rules out the incorporation of new partners.
