The National Court is already investigating the five explosive letters for terrorism

The National Court is already investigating for terrorism the chain of letters with pyrotechnic material sent since yesterday, according to legal sources. For now, the investigation is embryonic and the Police are sending the data drop by drop.

Yesterday the first proceedings were opened after learning of the sending of a letter with explosive material to the Ukrainian Embassy in Spain. The National Court assumed the investigation as it could affect international order and security.

The judge appointed to take on the matter is José Luis Calama, who is already working closely with the Prosecutor's Office and the Police to try to find out the origin of those letters.

Shortly after learning of the existence of this letter, which caused injuries to the hands of an Embassy worker, another new shipment to a Zaragoza company related to the manufacture of material to be sent to Ukraine was revealed. At dawn, a third arrived at the Torrejón de Ardoz military base (Madrid) and this morning other shipments to the Ministry of Defense and Presidency, addressed to Pedro Sánchez, have already become known.

From the Hearing, it is a question of finding out if this chain is related, as the facts indicate, and if the authors are the same.
