The National Assembly of Tabarnia will invest Ayuso as president in Madrid

As of September 6, Isabel Díaz Ayuso will reconcile her position as president of the Community of Madrid with that of president of Tabarnia – the platform that defends the secession of Barcelona and Tarragona from Catalonia – in Madrid.

The honorary title that the popular leader will receive was communicated to her by letter: “That being us supporters of immersion in Latin, admirers of the squid sandwich, enthusiasts of the Mahou bottle and wanting to adopt the Chotis as the national dance of Tabaresa, we ask you to accept our appointment”, read the letter.

Among the merits praised by the National Assembly of Tabarnia (ANT), the statements that Ayuso made in 2021 to unconditionally defend the tavern lifestyle stand out. “If I have a bad day, beer; and if it is good, too; to celebrate it ”, he was honest in the program My house is yours on Telecinco.

The Madrilenian, in fact, was boasting of her unappealable electoral victory in May 2021. Just after the socialist José Félix Tezanos justified his erroneous electoral forecasts as president of the CIS, alleging that Ayuso had won due to the support that “the taverns ” they had given to a candidate of “little intellectual and political entity”.

But the platform has ignored this detail and, "taking advantage of the fact that the Pisuerga passes through Valladolid", has organized an open event for which the Madrid president and some of its members have already confirmed their presence, among which figures from the ANT-Government stand out. Tabarnia as the journalists Tomás Guasch and Miquel Giménez, the national spokesman for Ciudadanos, Juan Carlos Girauta, the lawyer José M.ª Fuster-Fabra, and the playwright Albert Boadella.

All of them, together with Ayuso, will praise Tabarnia as “the best way to feel the real and Spanish Catalonia, the authentic one, that of the honest people who get up every day to earn their bread without the harvesters having to sing. Because we are Spanish and Catalan, because Spain is our country and Catalonia our small country and because if Paris is worth a mass, Madrid is worth an empire”.
