The Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating a 71-year-old man for the violent death of his partner in Palamós (Baix Empordà) on September 3. The alleged aggressor suffers from a degenerative mental illness.
The events occurred last Sunday when the police received notice that a woman was dead in a home in Palamós.
Subsequent police investigations and an autopsy confirmed that it was a violent death. The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of Girona has taken over the investigation.
