The Montseny conspires against the drought

Montseny seems to have conspired against the drought in Catalonia. The stream and the Santa Fe reservoir invite optimism after the last recorded rains, as can be seen in these images in The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia.

The reservoir located in the Santa Fe stream, a tributary of the Tordera River, looks better than weeks ago. And the stream sounds with force, with the water claiming itself as a source of life and as the engine of nature that irrigates.

This stream originates shortly before the Passavets stream, which comes from Turó de L'Home, while the dam is located in the municipality of Fogars de Montclús.

Part of the Catalan Prelittoral mountain range, Montseny is a massif located on the border of the regions of Vallès Oriental, La Selva and Osona.

A large part of this mountain range is part of the protected space of the Montseny Natural Park, where the three main European biomes are concentrated: the Mediterranean, the Euro-Siberian and the Boreoalpine.
