The 'Micrometre' Festival, small-format theater in Santa Susanna, will last six days

The Micròmetre Theater Festival has extended its duration and this 2022 will be six days. It will be held in Santa Susanna (Maresme) on September 1, 2, 3, 4, 9 and 10. This is the sixth edition of a festival that has established itself as one of the reference cultural proposals that kicks off the 2022/23 theater season.

During the two weekends of Micròmetre you can enjoy a total of 15 theater shows of conventional duration but of a small format. These are works that make up a rich and varied program available to everyone. The Festival continues to have a section of small-format, short-duration shows in small, unconventional spaces, especially taking advantage of the exceptional setting of the Masía de Can Ratés.

The Micrometer is a production of the Santa Susanna City Council directed by Anna Estol and Joan Gallart (La Guardia Produccions). The mayor, Joan Campolier, points out that he continues to aim for the festival to be "a speaker of quality proposals and talent in a small format".

Among the works that will make up the Micrometro 2022 grid are "Les good intentions" by Marc Artigau; "A shy light" by África Alonso with the musical composition of Andrea Puig Doria and África Alonso; Mar Monegal's "Monopoly" directed by Josep Galindo and Mar Monegal; "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare with Los Piratas production; and "The wise women" with dramaturgy by Lluís Hansen and Enric Cambray.
