The message of 'The Little Prince' in Terrassa

In the Plaza Ricard Camí de Terrassa we find this fantastic sculpture dedicated to The Little Prince by Saint-Exupéry, with a phrase engraved at the foot of the sculpture, which has not gone unnoticed in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.

It is a large-format piece, but very unknown, since the square is very large and goes unnoticed. But it is worth looking at this sculpture and the message it gives us.

The Little Prince is a short novel and the most famous work of the French writer and aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (1900-1944), which has taught us multiple lessons, one of which is provided by this sculpture from Terrassa.

His message tells us that "only with the heart can one see well; what is essential is invisible to the eyes." How many things do we overlook because we give great importance to what we see? What is it that escapes us because we don't look with our hearts?

This phrase that the fox says in The Little Prince invites us to reflect on the true value of things, their true essence. This sculpture from Terrassa reminds us of this. The eyes can deceive us, but not the heart. The heart is capable of differentiating one rose among a thousand.
