The long-awaited documentary by Annie Ernaux arrives at the Most Festival

The eleventh edition of the Most Festival, which will take place from November 3 to 13 in Vilafranca and other municipalities of the Penedès and will continue from 23 to 27 in Priorat, is presented with a broader program than in previous years. Once again, film sessions, events and, above all, a lot of wine are offered for all types of spectators, according to the director of the Vinseum and the co-director of the Most Xavier Fornos.

The International Wine Film Festival offers six titles to the Gran Reserva section, of which two will be seen for the first time in Catalonia. Among them are 'Suro' and 'Les années Super 8'.

For its part, 'Suro', by Mikel Gurrea, one of the most acclaimed debuts of the year, revolves around the attempts of a young couple -Vicky Luengo and Pol López- to adapt to rural life in the cork oak forests of the Empordà .

The next production is 'Les années Super 8', a documentary where the Nobel Prize for Literature, Annie Ernaux, shares her family recordings filmed between 1972 and 1981.

The programming of the Gran Reserva section also includes 'Julieta's Journey', another of the outstanding titles. A documentary tribute to the actress Julieta Serrano, who will receive the Most 2022 Honorary Award. Likewise, 'Hold me tight', by the Frenchman Mathieu Amalric, an exciting story about loss starring Vicky Krieps; 'Small, Slow But Steady', by Japanese director Sho Miyake; and 'La Maternal', by Pilar Palomero.

The Festival is also committed to screenings of the Harvest section in four different wineries, all of them accompanied by tastings and wine tourism activities: the Brot sessions dedicated to the best short films, the celebration of the centenary of the classic Nosferatu by F.W. Murnau or a children's session, among other proposals.
