Minutes before eleven at night, the Local Police of Mataró (Maresme) received a call from a neighbor who was protesting about the inconvenience caused by the banging on the walls, at a construction site at number 6 of La Rambla. Upon arrival, the agents discovered two butrons with which the thieves tried to access two establishments.
Upon arrival, the agents found that the door of the building under construction was open, so they could freely access the building. When they carried out an inspection with the person in charge of the building, they did not find any people, but they did find two butron-type holes in the walls of the lobby that overlooked the two adjacent stores, a mobile phone store and a perfume store that they had supposedly tried to access.
The agents closed the access to the building to thwart the robbery and maintained surveillance in case they could detect the suspects of the attempted assault in the heart of the city.
