The Limboos land today in La Nau

Sala La Nau in Barcelona celebrates its tenth anniversary this week, and for this it hosts a triple performance this Sunday, with The Limboos, Gitano de Palo and DJ The Gardener.

The Limboos have not passed through Barcelona for three years. This 2023 marks a restart of his career, with his first song since 2019, Red Line, which points to where the new work that they plan to publish this year will circulate. The Limboos do not hide very direct influences from the soundtracks of the 60's and 70's, from artists like Scott Walker, Love or Serge Gainsbourg, which are combined with the frenzy that defines them. The performance is scheduled for 9:30 p.m.

Before that, starting at 8:00 p.m., the visit of Gitano de Palo is scheduled, an artist who combines synthetic sounds and organic rhythms, virtuous guitars and digital tools. Gitano de Palo evokes the sounds of his childhood, his adolescence, the streets of all the cities where he has lived and danced. It will be the first time that this Galician shows his musical project in his adopted city

The evening closes with DJ The Gardener, Chaparro for friends. Producer, dj and promoter linked to the world of music and Sevillian culture for more than a decade. In 2011, together with Francisco Morales and Guillermo Paez, he founded Breaking Bass, a collective established in the Sevillian Bass Music scene, where he specializes in digital cumbia, salsa, Latino, moombahton, funk, zouk bass and global bass, becoming a reference for these styles in the city of Seville.

Later on he began to shake up the flamenco scene, DJing at its limits. Andalusian tradition and advanced sounds that are forged in his first 3 ep's, (Nube negra, Felah Mencub, Mawt Rihla) all of them published on Breaking Bass Records.
