The lawyer who drew up the report on Dalmases denounces pressure from Borràs

The lawyer Magda Oranich has denounced this Monday "unacceptable pressures" from the environment of the vice-president of Junts per Catalunya, Francesc de Dalmases, and also from the president of the party, Laura Borràs, for the preparation of the report on the incident of the leader of JxCat with a reporter for TV3's FAQS programme, which is no longer broadcast.

The events took place on July 9 and the internal investigation commissioned by the Junts management to Oranich, advanced last night by Nació Digital, concludes that the deputy and party leader had an "incorrect" attitude after "losing his nerve in a exaggerated", and that the journalist of the program felt intimidated.

"I can understand that they did not like the report, but it is clear that there has been inappropriate behavior," said Oranich today, who has granted interviews to RAC1 and TV3 after Dalmases has tried to disavow his work in a letter.

"She is a person with proven solvency and professional experience, also in the defense of women," said the party's spokesman and vice president, Josep Rius, when Oranich, who is part of the party, was commissioned last July. the party's guarantee commission.

The lawyer, who had been the trustee of the Barça partner, was elected to that internal body in July, in the second phase of the Junts congress. That day, just before the closing speeches, Borràs stopped to greet Oranich at La Farga de l'Hospitalet de Llobregat, but after knowing the content of the report he told him that "he would never speak to him again", revealed today the a lawyer.

Oranich has also revealed that other deputies from the Junts parliamentary group have complained about the attitude of one of the vice presidents of the party, although she has not focused on those aspects in the report, which does not include any proposal for a sanction, but on what that happened in July on TV3.

Dalmases, for his part, has sent a letter to his colleagues in the management in which he describes the internal investigation as "irregular". The also deputy assures that the file "had not been requested from the guarantee commission", and that the report "does not correspond in any way to the informative file" that he himself requested from the party leadership, after others intervened leaders to demand explanations.

In addition, the vice president of JxCat, chosen by Borràs in the distribution of internal power that was agreed in May, remarks that in the report "it is said that twenty people have been interviewed, who do not identify, nor do they collect their alleged manifestations", when, at the time the events occurred, "only five people were present on TV3".

"It's pathetic," Oranich said after Dalmases' letter was revealed, which, in his opinion, is "out of the world" for his complaints about the report. We say that he has "unpresentable behavior" and "bad behavior", not that he has killed someone, "added the lawyer." They have not realized that you cannot go around the world like this, "he has sentenced.

The general secretary of Junts, Jordi Turull, has avoided commenting on the internal file in an interview in Ser Catalunya and has regretted that the report was leaked, which must be addressed at a management meeting. "I'm in favor of not playing the game of leaks. It's a pretty serious issue and you have to be rigorous," he said. In fact, not all members of the executive were aware of the report. Oranich sent the report to Borràs and Turull a week ago.

Beyond this internal document, which arrives three months after the events, a TV3 report already confirmed Dalmases' inappropriate behavior and intimidation at the end of July.

The director of the FAQS program, Pere Mas, in September, explained in the control commission to the Catalan Audiovisual Media Corporation (CCMA) of the Parlament that there was no complaint about the incident until it appeared in the media because "there was fear" of the repercussions. The commission of the statute of the deputy of the Parlament, chaired by Junts, also has yet to rule on these facts.
