The Girona court has provisionally released the driver arrested for the fatal collision of a 21-year-old girl who was riding a bicycle in the Güell-Devesa neighborhood last Saturday.
The offender, who was arrested by the Girona Local Police this Sunday, jumped a stop at a crossing, between Josep Viader Street and Illa Street, and hit the young woman who was circulating correctly on the bike lane. The woman was also driving without a license.
The court handling the case today received the detainee, who was provisionally released. The judge imposes the obligation to appear periodically at judicial offices, has taken away her passport and prohibits her from leaving the territory. The case is open for homicide due to recklessness and driving without a license.
