The judge concludes the summary of the CDRs and sits 13 defendants on the bench

The judge of the National Court Manuel García Castellón has concluded the summary for belonging to a terrorist organization to the thirteen alleged members of the Defense Committees of the Republic (CDR) linked to the so-called Operation Judas practiced in September 2019 and nine of they, in addition, for possession, deposit and manufacture of explosive and flammable substances or devices of a terrorist nature.

With this conclusion order, the trial for them is inevitable, after the instructor processed them in September of last year.

The magistrate considers that this group formed within the CDRs the so-called Tactical Response Team (ERT), a cell made up of those investigated, made up of a small group of individuals from different CDRs, who "show great radicalism."

The creation of this cell is motivated, according to the judge, by the need to have, within the structure of the CDRs, a clandestine group of highly trusted individuals who show themselves to be totally dedicated to "the cause", having been entrusted with the carrying out the most sensitive actions.

Those investigated, all of them, says the instructor, share ideological principles favorable to independence and radical activism to achieve it; Its final objective as an organization was to achieve the independence of Catalonia, using violence in its maximum expression, thus forcing, in a coercive way, the institutions to grant, through deeds, the separation of Catalonia from the rest of Spain. .

According to the indictment, the members of the ERT have had an active participation in the materialization of some of the most forceful actions carried out by the CDR to date (roadblocks, oil spillage on the C-55 road in an obligatory place of passage for the procession that transferred the prisoners from the Lledoners Penitentiary Center, lifting of the toll barriers, etc.)

The investigated, as members of the ERT, continues the writing, participated in the creation and development of the CECOR (coordination center) for the actions of the CDR, assuming the commission received from a so-called "Catalan CNI" to provide the logistics infrastructure necessary in order to undertake an action in which it was intended to occupy the Parliament of Catalonia and defend it later.

The judge prosecuted Eduardo Garzón Bravo, Esther Garcia Canet, Sonia Pascual Guiral, Queralt Casoliva for belonging to a terrorist organization and also for the crime of possessing, depositing as well as manufacturing explosive and flammable substances or parts or their components, of a terrorist nature Rocabruna, Germinal Tomas Aubeso, Alexis Codina Barberan, Jordi Ros sola, Guillem Xavier Duch Palau and Rafael Joaquín Delgado López, while for the first of the crimes he is prosecuting Ferrán Jolis Guardiola, Xavier Buigas Llobet, David Budria Altadill and Clara Borrero Espejo.
