The judge cites Jorge Vilda as being investigated for the coercion of Jenni Hermoso

The judge of the National Court Francisco de Jorge has summoned as investigated, on October 10, the former women's soccer coach Jorge Vilda and the directors of the men's team, Albert Luque, and of Marketing of the RFEF, Rubén Rivera, in the case which is followed by Luis Rubiales' kiss to the player Jennifer Hermoso in the last World Cup final. Regarding these last two, the magistrate changes their status from witnesses to those under investigation.

Jorge maintains the summons scheduled for tomorrow as witnesses of the press manager of the women's team, Patricia Pérez, and the former director of Integrity of the RFEF, Miguel Caba, who will testify starting at 10 in the morning.

The judge made this decision after hearing the witness statement from Jenni Hermoso's brother and friend, who testified that they had suffered pressure and coercion for the player to come out in defense of Rubiales after the kiss scandal.

Vilda was dismissed as coach of the women's team after he supported Rubiales in the press conference in which he denied that the kiss was non-consensual and denied any attempt at coercion. Vilda was sitting in the first rows of that appearance in which Rubiales repeated on several occasions that he refused to resign.

In that same intervention, the then president of the RFEF supported Vilda, offering him to stay in office with a salary increase, earning him 500,000 euros.

Judge De Jorge has opened an investigation into Rubiales for the crimes of sexual assault and coercion. The first of the crimes refers to the kiss with Hermoso, which according to her was not consensual.

Rubiales has insisted before the judge that before giving him the kiss he asked for consent, and it was also part of a moment of effusiveness and affection after winning the World Cup and that in no case had sexual overtones.

Hermoso, in addition to sitting vulnerable with that kiss, reported to the Prosecutor's Office that both she and those around her had suffered coercion by Rubiales and people she trusted so that the player would come out publicly to support her actions, something she refused.
