The images of the Catalunya Nord warehouse where the 1-O ballot boxes were hidden

The shipment, 10,000 urns with the coat of arms of the Generalitat, arrives at the port of Marseille at the end of July 2017. They have been manufactured by a Chinese company from Guangzhou and have been bought in a clandestine operation led by the then president of the ANC, Jordi Sànchez, given the evidence that the Government of the Generalitat will not be able to allocate even one public euro to the purchase of ballot boxes for the independence referendum on October 1.

There are more than 800 boxes of 12 units and occupy three containers. On August 14, the ballot boxes arrive in three trucks at the secret warehouse in Illa, a town in the south of France, from where an army of activists will bring them into Catalonia by crossing the border in private vehicles.

La Vanguardia has had access to these images that had never before been made public.
