The gates of heaven in Vallès

These photographs that we see in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos were taken with a mobile phone in Sant Celoni, in the Vallès Oriental region.

At the time of capturing the snapshots, the wind was the protagonist. A typical Catalan saying that goes like this: "cel rogent, pluma o vent." And normally it happens, that is, it rains, a lot or a little.

With short but intense gusts of wind, we were able to enjoy a very powerful flash of light that turned the sky this orange color.

From my position, in one of the agricultural fields of Sant Celoni, I have been able to enjoy a sky that little by little has gone from a faint yellow to a bright orange.

And in just eight minutes a panorama was formed that seemed like the doors to heaven were opening.

Of course, it has been a time to have the cameras at hand and start recording or taking photos. More than one has come together to immortalize this moment photographically. It has been, without a doubt, impressive.
