The Fundació Èpica de la Fura dels Baus i Marina de Badalona have reached an agreement through which the company will locate its advanced arts research center, which works on concepts such as dialogue between the humanities, science and technology, in one of the three buildings located on the Harbor Master's wharf at the Port of Badalona (Barcelonès Nord).
The new facilities will house everything from the offices to performance and rehearsal rooms, and will be the setting for the internationally popular and attractive workshops that characterize them at this stage.
The Fura dels Baus Foundation is the first incorporation of a benchmark in RDI (research, development and innovation) in this space, which, in accordance with the new use plan for the Port that is being prepared to start processing, will be oriented to accommodate professionals of new technologies, in the Port's commitment to consolidate and become a point of attraction for culture and digitization, located in a unique enclave, a few meters from the future Three Chimneys Audiovisual Cluster.
Likewise, the Fundació Èpica also has the nautical universe among its lines of work, from the point of view of artistic creation and research. Details will be released in the coming days.
