The TNC, along with other European theaters, is hosting today TDDAY (Theater Democracy Day), a reading of five texts, "the freshest in Europe" says the TNC, which will form part of a collective work, written by European authors who speak of the problems of adolescence from their testimonies.

These are five short plays, in which the playwrights address different themes that, in this edition, will talk about the problems that interest adolescents, such as sex, ecology, personal and family relationships, etc.

The five playwrights, Martha Balthazar, Alessandro Berti, Tiago Correia, Daniela Feixas and Cédric Orain, who come from five countries, have worked directly with testimonies between 13 and 18 years old.

The initiative is part of the Between Lands project, which includes the TNC, the KVS in Brussels, the Comédie de Reims, the São João National Theater and the Emilia Romagna Theater in Bologna. The resulting works will be translated into six languages and will be kept in the Democracy Library.

Chloé Dabert directs this reading, which features Isabelle Bres, Marc Garcia Coté, Biel Rossell, Júlia Mascort, Biel Montoro and Miriam Moukhles. At 7 p.m., in the TNC Workshop Room.
