The followers of the wind in Sant Pere Pescador

In this series of photographs in La Vanguardia Readers' Photos, which I captured with my mobile phone in Sant Pere Pescador, we can see how water sports fans take advantage of the autumn wind.

This town is located within the region of Alt Empordà a few minutes from the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park and in the middle of the Gulf of Roses.

Within the municipal area, we can enjoy the beach, its varied agriculture, the Fluvià river and, of course, the town itself.

Today, with these photographs, I would like to delve deeper into its beaches, which are characterized by being large and quiet.

They are large coastal areas, but another of their strengths comes from the weather. The Alt Empordà region is known for its Tramuntana wind, making it a perfect place to practice water sports that require wind, such as Kitesurfing and Windsurfing. Precisely, on windy days it is easy to find athletes practicing this sport.

In addition, we can also enjoy its mouth and the views of distant towns such as Roses or L'Estartit to the south.

We could say that this is a quiet place on the Costa Brava, in the middle of nature, sporty and perfect to disconnect and see the effects of the storms on the sea.
