The Fixing the Future festival wants to innovate to change the world from Barcelona

An innovation festival with one goal: to fix the world. How? Bringing together some of the most innovative minds to talk and debate in public in Barcelona. It is Fixing the Future, which celebrates its third edition today and tomorrow at the CCCB in Barcelona, ​​after those of 2018 and 2019, a 2020 of pandemic white and a 2021 in which it was canceled due to restrictions a few weeks before. Now he is once again raising his gaze from the day-to-day that catches us and participating in innovation with participants such as Brian Eno, Ece Temelkuran, Dominic Wilcox, Martina Puigvert, Gabriela Bucher, Bee Wilson or Kennedy Odede.

The more than 50 participants will deal with topics such as ecological transition, artivism (activism through art), feminism, sustainable fashion or conscious eating, to which a section dedicated to education from the STEAM perspective is added for the first time. science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) and activities aimed at children (from six to twelve years old).

The festival, structured around conferences, round tables, documentary screenings and workshops (educational robotics, digital fabrication and maker projects, emotional and environmental education, Lego games or introduction to programming), is organized by Abacus and its educational content platform , Habilis, which take over Atlas of the Future, which developed the first two editions.
