A truck fire is causing traffic problems on Barcelona's Ronda de Dalt. The flames have forced traffic to be cut off in both directions of the march since early in the morning.
The Barcelona Fire Brigades have declared the flames that had broken out in the vehicle extinguished. There are 10 fire brigade crews and staff from the Barcelona Urban Police at the scene, as some vehicles are still immobilized in the affected section.
The accident occurred in the Túnel dels Caçadors, just at exit 3 of La Guineueta (Nou Barris), in the direction of Llobregat.
As explained by municipal sources in RAC1, the fire has not caused any injuries, only intense smoke and significant traffic delays in a few hours when citizens are heading to their jobs.
The accident was reported at 8:20 a.m. and up to ten crews from the Barcelona Fire Brigade were sent to the scene. The Urban Police are diverting traffic along the sides of the Dalt ring road until normality is restored.
