The F League creates the figure of the party director

The F League has announced this Friday the creation of the figure of the match director, in charge of "observing and auditing the facilities and internal protocols of the clubs, in order to detect weaknesses and aspects to improve", the employers have explained in a statement.

It will be made up of ten women, most of them ex-soccer players, including figures such as the former Espanyol captain Paloma Fernández, the Catalan exporter Mariajo Pons or the historic Atheltic soccer player Vanesa Gimbert, who retired last summer. They will attend a League F match every weekend, starting with this weekend, and will be available to the clubs to "resolve any doubts they may have, make suggestions and provide experience."

Since the F League became professional for the first time this season, the clubs have faced various challenges to improve their structures and facilities, with the aim of offering "the best possible league tournament". This new figure of the match director should help them in this process: "The main function of the match directors will be to collect data on the state of the facilities and the protocols and help improve this image and audiovisual perception", explains the F League .

The ten new party directors that join the structure of League F are: Elisa Álvarez, Tere Sauri, Mariajo Pons, Amaia Huerta, Vanesa García, Paloma Fernández, Vanesa Gimbert, Raquel Esteban, Noemí Sánchez and Paula Nicart, will be the ten match directors of the F League, all of them linked to women's soccer, either as former soccer players, or as professionals who have worked in soccer clubs, developing different functions.
