The duotone of the fog in Vic

The fog early in the day has left us with a ghostly ephemeral landscape, some images captured in Vic for La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos.

Fog is common in Vic, sometimes it is thicker and other times it sticks to the ground. In these images we can see in black and white from the historic Pont de Queralt at night to the Vic 2 apartment blocks floating in the fog.

The Queralt bridge over the Mèder river was, for a long time, the only access to the city. It was built in the 11th century, although, over the centuries, it has undergone many modifications.

This bridge, also called Sant Francesc or Calla, is located in front of the old Queralt portal of the walls of Vic, on the path that followed the Roman road to Barcelona.

Among the photographs we also see, in duotone, the sun between fogs on the outskirts of the city, with the fields, the farmhouses and the trees. Some usual fogs that dissipated soon, leaving this beautiful ephemeral landscape.
