Óscar García, coach and former player of Barcelona and Espanyol, announced this Thursday on social networks the death of his 21-year-old daughter, who had been fighting an illness for some time.
"Fly high my love!" (Fly high, my love!) Óscar has written on his Instagram account along with a photo in which he appears with his daughter on his shoulders.
After the announcement of his death, the Sabadell coach quickly received condolences and expressions of affection from many of the clubs where he has worked and also from former teammates and players he has managed.
The football world is mourning this sad news. In October the former player announced that he was leaving Reims, where he was training, to return to Barcelona for "reasons of the utmost importance", where his daughter was admitted to the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital.
