With the incorporation of Carme Martínez, ERC values ​​the work carried out by the councilor at the head of the commission for the modernization of the structures of the Badalona City Council. A key aspect for the quadripartite that now governs the city and that is committed to improving municipal functioning as one of the main lines of government.

Martínez (Barcelona, ​​1959) prior to Guanyem Badalona en Comú had been active in Iniciativa les Verds, where she worked between 2003 and 2007 as Education Coordinator and Director of Environmental Services at Badalona City Council. The season from 2007 to 2011 was councilor in the opposition.

The incorporation of the former councilor to the Republican lists will be officially announced next Tuesday at a press conference called after the ERC assembly that will take place on Monday. Before, the appointment must be ratified by the Republican executive in which some discrepancies have already begun to appear, according to sources close to the Republican party.
