The commons launch a parliamentary offensive against the Government for its "inaction"

In Comú Podem the new political course begins with force, launching a parliamentary offensive against almost half of the members of the Govern de Pere Aragonès, the majority of ERC, for their inaction and silence" in the face of the "recent events that have affected the citizenship of Catalonia".

The start of the school year, the drought and the water supply cuts, the energy crisis, the accident rate that affects the cyclist group on the roads and inflation are the issues that Comú Podem intends to focus on at the beginning of the new political course, "so many issues on which citizens demand and need their government to act" but they find themselves with a Pere Aragonès executive "absorbed", according to the president of the parliamentary group, Jéssica Albiach.

The commons registered today in Parliament the appearance of six members of the Government, four from ERC and two from Junts. Josep González-Cambray (Education), Teresa Jordà (Climate Action), Josep Maria Argimon (Health), Joan Ignasi Elena (Interior), Gemma Geis (Universities) and Roger Torrent (Business and Employment).

In the case of the Minister of Education, Josep González-Cambray, the purple formation wants him to report on the problems that occur regarding the lack of places for enrollment in Vocational Training and on the implementation of free extracurricular activities as a consequence of the early start of the school year.

In this case, the commons maintain a special belligerence with the management of the minister, whom they have tried to reprove on several occasions in Parliament for the treatment he has been dispensing to the educational community in matters such as the advancement of the course or the reversal of the cuts.

In the case of the minister Jordà, the commons want her to appear so that she can account for the actions carried out to mitigate the drought, a matter of special relevance at this time and that is causing cuts in the water supply in almost 300 municipalities Catalans. They also want me to report on the deployment of renewable energy in Catalonia, a recurring issue that becomes relevant with the energy crisis.

The commons request the appearance of Torrent to report on the negotiation of wage increases between unions and employers in Catalonia. And in the case of Minister Elena, the training demands that he report on the accident rate with cyclists on Catalan roads and the measures to deal with it; an interest derived from the fatal outrage a few days ago in Castellbisbal by a hit-and-run driver.

In the health field, Minister Argimon's request to appear has to do with the evolution of the spread of the monkeypox virus in Catalonia, since precisely this community leads the number of cases throughout Spain. Finally, they demand that the Minister of Universities also appear so that she can report on the application of the law of science.

The commons launch this battery of petitions to show a critical but constructive spirit with the Government. In fact, the Albiach formation keeps its hand outstretched to negotiate the budgets of the Generalitat again. It would be the third parties that support if there is finally an agreement.
