The Civil Guard has confirmed that the human remains found this Tuesday on a farm in Valdepeñas (Ciudad Real) correspond to Juan Miguel Isla, the businessman from Manzanares (Ciudad Real) who disappeared in July 2022.

The Civil Guard has informed in a press release that the biological analyzes carried out on the corpse found have confirmed that they belong to the businessman.

The investigation, carried out by agents of the Central Operating Unit and the Ciudad Real Command, is directed by the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 2 of Manzanares (Ciudad Real).

In the framework of this investigation, two men have been arrested, one of them Antonio C.V., the owner of the farm where Isla's body was found and who also acted as an intermediary in the sale of some land that Isla himself wanted to carry out.

The other detainee has already entered provisional prison, communicated and without bail for an alleged crime of homicide / murder. In addition, a third person is being investigated for his possible involvement in the events.

Juan Miguel Isla, 58, disappeared from Manzanares on July 21, 2022, when he was preparing to collect a significant amount of money for the sale of a farm in La Solana, also in the same province.

His vehicle, which was also not located when the man's trail was lost, was found at the end of January in an open field in Albacete, after the Civil Guard requested citizen collaboration through social networks.

Antonio CV He is also being investigated in the case of the disappearance of another Manzanares man, which occurred in 2019 and with whom he would also have acted as a mediator for the sale of several vehicles.
