The Cerdanyola Blues Festival does the rest in its return to normality

True to its founding policy of always offering a line-up of high quality standards, the Cerdanyola International Blues Festival faces its return to normality with a particularly ambitious musical and artistic programme.

The fifty programmed concerts (and 5 exhibitions) begin tomorrow, Friday, and end on October 9 with an offer of soul, swing, rhythm and blues, jazz and rock

In addition to the presence of the latter – a renowned British blues and rock guitarist, singer and composer – this 31st edition features other international names with a renowned curriculum such as the American singer and harmonica player Chris O'Leary; Selwyn Birchwood, who will share his long-awaited third album Living in a burning house; the rock band Kamikaze Helmets; the legendary cult band The Silos, led by Walter Salas-Humara, an indisputable reference in the North American alternative rock scene.

To them we must add the presence of the always refreshing and dedicated Nick Lowe, incombustible British performer and creator (and producer of names like Elvis Costello or Pretenders), who will be wrapped in his Straitjackets.

At the national level, Lluís Coloma and his Musical Troup XXL stand out, the aforementioned Barcelona Big Blues Band with Jonathan Herrero, Martín Burguez and His Rhythm Combo, Itziar Yagüe or Hendrik Röver, who on this occasion will come with The Kleejos Band.

To highlight the incorporation of the Bosc Tancat, a large private venue with free admission during the festival and which will host the two main stages. And on the other hand, in its desire to bring this music closer to new generations of fans, a concert has been scheduled at the Universitat Autònoma as well as various educational activities for children and young people of all ages.
