The image transmits the calm of the sunset in the port of a town through whose urban area the Amadorio river (or de la Vila river) passes, which comes from the reservoir of the same name.
The municipality of Vila Joiosa has 15 km of coastline and is bordered by Relleu, Aguas de Busot, Campello, Finestrat and Orcheta.
Despite the fact that Vila Joiosa has a great fishing tradition, currently the chocolate and tourism industries stand out in its economy.
