The BWW wine show expands its cellars by 15%

The next edition of Barcelona Wine Week (BWW), which will take place from February 6 to 8, 2023 at the Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc venue, will feature a record number of 700 wineries, 15% more than in 2022. there will be 60 denominations of origin and other quality seals. Faced with fears on the part of the Catalan wine sector that the show could move its headquarters to Madrid in the future, Valls explains that "the current location is considered optimal due to the great strength of the Barcelona brand abroad, and because it is the great international showcase of Spanish wine”.

The director of Alimentaria Exhibitions is confident that the BWW Likes the City program will be a dynamic factor not only for hotels, restaurants and specialized points of sale; but for all commerce and various cultural facilities”. More than 500 international buyers have been invited with the strategic collaboration of ICEX Export and Investment. There will also be more than 1,300 key buyers from the national market.
