This afternoon, the maritime service of the Civil Guard recovered the body of a man who appeared floating in the sea, in front of the beach of Sant Adrià de Besòs, in the province of Barcelona, who apparently has no signs of having suffered violence.
As reported this Wednesday by Metrópoli Abierta and police sources have confirmed to EFE, the Armed Institute received the notice this afternoon, and has proceeded to recover the body, in collaboration with the Generalitat Firefighters.
The deceased person, who has been identified, is a 71-year-old man of Spanish nationality who was a resident of Badalona, in the same province.
While waiting for the autopsy to take place once the body has been removed, the Civil Guard's main hypothesis is that the death would have occurred due to natural causes.
