The bodies of two babies discovered in the apartment of a family in France

The French Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation after the discovery of the bodies of two babies, who could have been dead for many months, in a family's apartment in the town of Rumilly, in the Haute-Savoie department (east).

The Annecy prosecutor, Line Bonnet-Mathis, who plans to appear publicly this Friday, at first has limited herself to confirming the activation of that investigation on a preliminary basis.

It was the newspaper Le Dauphiné Liberé, which revealed that the two bodies appeared on the 1st when the gendarmes called by the mother of the family went to the house in the La Salle neighborhood, who was later hospitalized and has not yet been able to testify because of his altered psychological state.

The bodies, one of which was in a suitcase, were in an advanced state of decomposition, so it is estimated that his death could have occurred even more than a year ago. In the house, which has been sealed, a couple and two children lived for three years.
