The Blackpink k-pop makes the Palau Sant Jordi their own today

The extraordinary reception of some k-pop groups has one of its most spectacular expressions in the female quartet Blackpink.

The South Korean group lands today at the Palau Sant Jordi (8:00 p.m.) with an addictive show based on their latest songs included on their second album Born Pink and which has already sold out all the tickets on sale. This is the second time they play in Barcelona; the first was in 2019 in the same venue.

The importance and expectation they arouse is symptomatic, which can be verified in the descriptive information that can be read on the Palau Sant Jordi website: "The most popular girl group on the planet will tour 14 cities in North America and Europe", and in Barcelona will offer its only performance on Spanish stages.

The journey began, indeed, last week with two consecutive concerts at the 02 Arena in London, and with a total of 30,000 fans filling the venue over the two days.

The Barcelona concert is part of the Born Pink world tour, which started last October in Seoul and which Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa are doing as a presentation of their second album of the same title, released last September and already a whole bomb in sales and viewings.

Due to what they have been playing in the American segment of the tour and the British start of the European, it is expected that tonight they will play all their hits, such as How you like that, Kill this love, Ddu-du Ddu-du, Lovesick girls and Pink venom. To which must be added some of the most famous songs by its members as soloists (Lalisa, by Lisa; On the ground, by Rosé, or Solo, by Jennie).
