The bicycle of 10,200 euros that the police have recovered in a few hours in Valencia

Agents of the National Police have recovered this midday in Burjassot, Valencia, a bicycle valued at around 10,200 euros that had been stolen from inside a van during the night and have arrested a 33-year-old man of Algerian origin, as the alleged perpetrator of the robbery.

The police have learned of the facts as a result of a complaint, in which they warned of the robbery committed throughout the night inside a van parked in the Valencian town of Burjassot. Specifically, a window had been broken and a bicycle valued at more than 10,000 euros was missing from the interior, as well as various documentation and bank cards.

The investigations of the agents have been able to relate a man, who a few hours before had been arrested for another robbery with force, with this illegal criminal.

The police officers located the stolen bicycle inside the suspect's own home, who allowed the agents access to it, stating that it was his. However, after several efforts, the investigators verified that it corresponded to the denounced as abducted moments before, for which reason they arrested the man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with force.

The arrested man, with a police record, will go to court in the next few hours. The bike has already been returned to its rightful owner.
