The beautiful mirror effect of the Gola del Fluvià

As can be seen in these photographs in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos, the Fluvià, upon reaching its mouth, contains a large amount of water, producing this type of lake.

It is truly a great joy for the eyes to visit the Gola del Fluvià, where, in the afternoon, this reddish sky is captured with this mirror effect, between earthly and heavenly.

The Fluvià River originates in Falgars d'en Bas and, after traveling 70 kilometers between La Garrotxa and Alt Empordà, ends in the Mediterranean Sea.

To the south you have the long beach of Sant Pere Pescador and, to the north, the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà and the bay of Roses. It is an area of great ecological value.

In addition, the mouth of the river Fluvià or Gola del Fluvià is changing its landscape due to sea storms and river floods.

In this case we see a candlelight sky that doubles reflected in the water. It is a meteorological phenomenon in which the clouds in the sky show a wide palette of colors ranging from pink to the most intense orange.
