The Barcelona New Economy Week (Bnew) will be held from October 3 to 6 with 180 hours of content and 600 speakers, the Consorci de la Zona Franca (CZFB) reported in a statement on Tuesday.

The event on new economy will organize 130 conferences, sessions and debates. The CZFB will take advantage of the new facilities of the DFactory to carry out the face-to-face aspect of the event, which can also be followed online. 12,000 attendees and the participation of 400 companies are expected.

Urban mobility, industrial digitization or circular economy will be some of the highlighted topics. "The organization of the Bnew implies selecting the most current topics, focused on the future, in key sectors for the digitization of the industry", described the special delegate of the State in the CZFB, Pere Navarro.

The event will feature seven verticals. "The profound transformation of the real estate sector or the new models of urban mobility have been essential for the selection of the themes of each vertical", said the general director of the CZFB, Blanca Sorigué.
