The Bambú metro station is flooded due to a break in the Canal de Isabel II pipe

The Bambú station on Metro Line 10 was closed this Friday morning due to the accumulation of water after a pipe on the Canal de Isabel II broke on the outside.

In this way, the trains have not stopped at this station on Line 10 (Hospital Infanta Sofía-Puerta del Sur) since the beginning of the service, around 6:37 a.m., due to the accumulation of water outside.

Metro sources have explained to Europa Press that the breakage of a pipe in the Canal de Isabel II has caused water to accumulate outside, which prevents access to the station.

Likewise, Metro Line 7 reported a breakdown in its facilities early in the morning that forced the interruption of service between García Noblejas and Cartagena, in both directions, from that same hour. The incident, caused by a fault in the signaling system, was resolved an hour later.
