I share in the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia these photographs of the beautiful autumn in some corners of the Eastern Pyrenees in Catalonia..
The lack of water is noticeable in the trees and in the streams that flow through the valleys. This year many trees have turned from green to brown or have fallen altogether.
As you can see in the snapshots, everything is more ocher and brown. The trees next to the streams have a little more color.
Plants and trees suffer water stress due to a water deficit in these times of persistent drought in Catalonia that also affects high mountain areas.
As can be seen in the images, the color combination of the leaves of the trees is evident, from yellow to green, through browns and reddish tones.
