It will continue to rain in Spain. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) expects locally strong showers and storms for this Monday in Catalonia, Andalusia, Murcia, the extreme southeast of Castilla-La Mancha and the southern half of the Valencian Community, and even very strong ones in the eastern end of Andalusia and south of Murcia.

In the rest of the country, cloudy or cloudy intervals are expected with the probability of some weaker and isolated showers or storms, according to the forecast.

Regarding temperatures, daytime temperatures will rise in the northwest quadrant of the peninsula and Catalonia, with highs that could reach 27 degrees in Lleida or 28 in Ourense. In the pre-coastal area of ​​Barcelona, ​​up to 20 mm may fall in an hour and the showers may be accompanied by storms.

The start of the week will be marked by rain in many parts of the country. For Tuesday, these warnings will be extended in the area of ​​​​the southeast of the peninsula due to heavy rainfall. Showers and storms will once again be locally strong in Andalusia, Murcia and the southern half of the Valencian Community.

According to Aemet, in general, an unstable situation will continue this week that will continue to leave very cloudy skies and probable showers and storms in the eastern half of the peninsula, the southern third and the Balearic Islands. In the extreme north of the Peninsula, rains and showers will be likely throughout the week. In the Canary Islands, cloudy intervals and weak rainfall are expected in the north of the islands.
